Pearpoint and Radiodetection will be displaying a range of products for pipeline inspection and for buried pipe and cable location at this year’s WWETT show, February 21-24, at the Indiana Convention Center. On show will be the P340 flexiprobe Pushrod Sewer Camera System, the P350 flexitrax and the P350 Laser Pipe Profiler. Radiodetection will also be showcasing their latest range of Precision Locators, the Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), as well as an array of accessories, which are designed to extend the capabilities of Radiodetection’s products.
WWETT 2018 also sees the release of two Pearpoint P356 Cradles – created to expand the capabilities of the P350 flexitrax to inspect pipes up to 60”. The Standard Cradle can be deployed via a 23” manhole, while also enabling transit through debris-strewn pipes and silted storm drains. It features 13” wheels to allow it to climb over obstacles such as 4” house bricks. The Compact Cradle is for deployment through 21” manholes and can lift a camera to the center of a 53” pipe. Mounting of the P356 is quick and easy, requiring no specialist tools.
Pearpoint and Radiodetection can be found at booth #6138.
The P350 flexitrax is a modular crawler system designed to speed up system deployment to reduce surveying time.
Crawler system operators often face a choice between portability with limited functionality, or complex and bulky systems for bigger pipes. Pearpoint’s P350 system features intuitive joystick controls and a remote-controlled powered elevator. It is capable of centered inspection in large pipes, but is also highly portable for easy transport.
FlexiSight Manager PC Reporting software offers the option to create detailed Pipe Inclination surveys. Users can select one or more portions of a surveyed pipe and create one or multiple charts showing the pipe inclination. Charts can be added automatically to the standard FlexiSight Manager report and exported as DOC or PDF documents.
P350 Laser Pipe Profiler
The P350 Pipe Profiler is the flexitrax accessory tool designed to provide precise and automatic sewer profile and capacity measurements.
When used with compatible Laser Scanning software, such as WinCan, the P350 Laser Profiler provides users such as municipalities, construction, utility and inspection companies, with detailed pipe measurements and reports such as Pipe Deformation, pipe internal diameter and expected capacity, simplifying tasks like pipe adoption and pre/post rehabilitation surveys more quickly and more accurately.
The lightweight yet rugged P340 flexiprobe system is designed for use in harsh conditions and has a range of compatible drain cameras to provide precise inspections and recordings. The weatherproofed P340+ flexiprobe system offers always-active sonde transmitter, high quality video, one-touch digital recording, a range of reels and reporting capabilities. It’s easy to transport and deploy, enabling quick and successful inspections.
When used with FlexiSight Manager software, you can import, store and manage your inspection data.
Radiodetection’s Precision Locate range are designed to provide accurate locate performance for damage prevention professionals. The RD8100 – our multi-function locator – and the RD7100 – our utility-specific locator range – will be on show.
The RD8100 cable locator is engineered to deliver the best precision for damage prevention when locating buried cables and pipes. This advanced range of underground utility locators offers optional integrated GPS and usage logging.
The RD7100 range contains advanced locating technologies with each model optimized for the challenges of locating a particular buried utility.
Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)
GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) systems enable operators to detect underground utilities, particularly non-conductive pipes and ducts, using high-frequency Radar. Radiodetection's RD1100 and RD1500 innovative GPR systems both use ultra-wide band 250MHz, specifically chosen for effective utility locating.
Our GPR products feature internal GPS and high-resolution touch screens. For connectivity and ease of reporting, both offer on-board Wi-Fi and a USB port. Additionally, the RD1500 allows users to create depth slices and review their locate path on screen while on site, and selectively enhance shallow/small, medium depth/size, or deep/large targets using the proprietary FrequenSee technology.
